You can also boat across the lake to Teewah Landing and walk to the surf beaches at Teewah (not patrolled). The lake is on average 1.5m deep. It is extremely popular for sailing, wind surfing, fishing, kite surfing, swimming and also for canoes, kayaks, and rowing. Other activities include tennis, bush walking, BMX track, skate park.
